Hotel History

The Orbital Hotel is a division of the ANO DPO “Technical Academy of Rosatom” - an organization specializing in additional professional education, professional retraining of managers and experts of nuclear energy and industry, and certification of personnel.

1960 Y.

The first building of the hotel with the name "Don" for 100 seats was opened in 1960 on Lenin Street. Coming builders and specialists of the All -Union Komsomol Construction Construction Construction of the All -Union Komsomol Building were placed there. In 1980, the hotel moved to a new modern eight -story building for 147 rooms, which was built on Kurchatov Street.

2014 Y.

In 2014, renovation was carried out. The room fund amounted to 108 rooms, the hotel changed the interior, comfortable recreation areas were added, the rooms became spacious, which meets the modern requirement of high service. From 2014 to 2020, the hotel was called the Cherry Orchard.

2020 Y.

In 2020, the hotel joined the network of modern hotels in the Rosatom Technical Academy with the symbolic and beautiful name "Orbital".
